COMPETITIONS

Although some pilots take the competitions seriously, most of the competitions are held as a light-hearted way of recognising the skill and expertise of modellers at the weekend flying events. On some occasions, awards have been won by pilots who didn’t know they were being judged – much to their surprise and delight, of course!

Competitions are usually run on the Sunday of each event. To be included in the competitions, models must have been flown successfully.
